Women in Design

DES308 TYPOGRAPHY III: EXPRESSION is an advanced design studio course that explores typographic form and expression. Students engage in textural investigations of typographic form and expression with an emphasis on composition (contrast, rhythm, tension), non-linearity, visual argumentation, dimensions, and the interplay between digital and analog operations.

Materiality of Type. A publication expression that combines the writing, collecting, and making, I conducted through the semester. A documentation presentation that showcases my individual working process and explanation of each of my investigations and expressions. For this project, my subject of research was on ‘Women in Design’ that focused on their past, huddles women faced and how Feminists opened gateways to inclusion in the workplace with women. I created analog and digital typography expressions that match the main points of the, and article I laid out in the book.
